Country walk/hiking

Behind the forester's house there is a new orchard with standard trees. Descend the path; below you will see a small pond. Take the path to the left. It overhangs a small alluvial valley. When you reach a shelter, take the path to the left and follow a long straight line until the tarmac road. Take a left. Go straightforward until a road (you will see tables and benches). Cross the road. Continue on the path. After about 1 km, take the path to the left. You will cross an oak forest. The path goes along 7 small wooden bridges. Follow this path until the tarmac road and take a right up to the departure point.

Departure at the Forester's house of Hasenell.
Access: E40, exit Eupen. Take a right up to the roundabout, turn left, then go straightforward. At the third traffic lights, take a right and go down the road. Turn left at the first lights; the road is narrow at first, then very sloping. When you arrive at a T crossroads, take a left and continue until the forest. Stop at the first house (Forester's house of Hasenell). There is a small parking behind it.

The walk is very varied, but the last part is not accessible for handicapped persons. They can, however, do a part of the walk by not crossing the large tarmac road, but instead go directly left to return to the point of departure.

Length of the trail: 6 km.
Duration: 2 heures.
Road markings: Green lozenge
