LA PROMENADE DE LA DÎME
- Departing from
Rue Saint Martin
- MAPS: Google Maps
This bucolic landscape belongs to the local collective memory and offers you an unusual image of Wallonia. Originally, the Saint-Donat chapel was a boundary stone that was built in in the walls of small chapel. This small and humble building is located just outside the village centre and bears witness of the people's devotion in the past. Even now, the Saint-Donat chapel is the setting for a hundred-year old procession. From this point you can see the 5 clock towers of Héron: Warêt-l'Evêque, Héron, Lavoir, Couthuin-fond and Surlemez.
The Valleys of the Burdinale and the Mehaigne propose 18 walking trails, 4 mountain bike trails and 2 bike trails.
A recto/verso map with all the trails is available at the tourist office: Rue de la Burdinale 6 - 4210 Burdinne.
Departure: Rue Saint-Martin, at the church.
