Country walk/hiking

The walk goes upstream from the brook of Petit-Thier. Interesting here, is the presence of remarkable wooded peat bogs. The large botanical diversity makes this an important refuge for birds. If you pay attention, you may even see a kingfisher or a butcherbird down in the valley. The walk continues in the state forest of the Grand-Bois. This forest stretches out on 1800 ha and includes both coniferous and broad-leaved trees. The second part of the walk you descend towards the charming and typical small hamlet of Burtonville, which is completely built in local arkose stone. You return to Petit-Their along the forest.
