FOREST TRAIL OF BELOEIL

DISCOVER
The Mer de Sable: in the heart of the forest of Stambruges, it offers walkers peaceful paths, welcoming pavilions and a fitness trail.
The Fontaine Bouillante: This geological phenomenon is the result of a rift in the soil which allows water to spout up and bubble up at the surface.
The Chapel of Erconpuch: Close to the Mer de Sable you'll see a chapel dedicated to Notre-Dame du Buisson.
The Ottée des fées: The legends goes that at nightfall, the Stambruges women came to drop off their dirty laundry and food there. During the night, the fairies washed and ironed the clothes. The morning after the women came back to pick them up.


Advice of the hiker:
The three trail, of 10, 15 and 20 km are accessible to everyone and go mainly through the forest with some sections along the canal and around the "Mer de Sable". A varied trail that is ideal for mountain bikers.

Walkers can use the welcoming pavilions with barbecue and playground on reservation.
