You walk alongside the Semois and you pass the abbey of Clairefontaine. On your right side, you can see a lime tree of more than 300 years old. Then you take a small road which still runs alongside the Semois. You pass a pedunculate oak of several hundred years old. There is a barbecue are if you want to make a stop. Then you arrive at the mill of l'Epine, a flour mill from the 19th century which was active until the First World War. A bit farther, you can admire two beautiful viewpoints: one on the mill of l'Epine and the other on the abbey of Cordemois. Follow the path up to the recently renovated belvedere. You descend via the Auclin slope, a true "forest museum" with gigantic trees.
