RAVEL 2 : MARIEMBOURG - HOEGAARDEN : 116,4 KM

RAVeL means specially designed routes, way-marked by the authorities, to offer the visitors more security, comfort and peace and quiet at any time. The used routes are old railway lines, byways and towpaths. RAVeL 2 measures a bit over 100 km, starts from Mariembourg and ends in Hoegaarden (and vice versa). You'll cross the Fagnes, the valley of the Meuse and the plateaus of Hesbaye. The majority of this itinerary has its exclusive right-of-way, but there are some connections with normal roads (over short distances).
