SUR LES PAS DE VAUBAN

On the occasion of the 300th anniversary of Vauban's deaths, many cities and towns honour the famous strategist of Louis XIV. Vauban realised several projects on the current Belgian territory. In the province of Namur you can still see traces of the engineer's work in Namur, Dinant and Philippeville.
